| Welcome to the Children's Ministry page! We are glad you are interested in what we offer children at our church. Kids are a very important part of our minstry here because they are the hope of the future. We feel that what we teach them in word and deed will have life-long benefits. And what could be more important than discovering that God loves and cares for them and that he has something important for them to do with their lives. I hope that is reflected on this page. | We have nursery and preschool care every Sunday morning for all children birth through Kindergarten. Meets on the first floor of the Educational Building (between the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall). |

| Children meet weekly upstairs in our Educational Building. The curiculum is graded for 1st through 5th grade children. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Children's Sermon and Children's Church | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Each week during worship service the pastor invites the children to come forward for a time of Children's Sermon. Following Children's Sermon the Children return to the Educational Building for a Children's Church devoted exclusively to their worship needs. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Special Events for Children | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| We do several special events just for children throughout the year. In October we have hundreds of kids visit our church for Trunk or Treat. On the first Saturday in December we hold A Kid's Advent where children learn the true meaning of Christmas. Vacation Bible School Days are held on four succesive Wednesday mornings in the summer. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Outreach Ministries for Children | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Our church cares about children in our community with special concerns. Kids Hope is a mentoring ministry pairing one adult volunteer with an "at risk" child at Dillard Elementary School. Back Pack Pals is a ministry to help feed hungry children by providing free food for weekend consumption. |
